Session One: Shifting to a sustainable energy landscape

The energy industry is transitioning to renewable energy sources as the world moves towards decarbonization. Solar, wind, and hydropower are becoming increasingly popular, as are green hydrogen and energy storage technologies. Distributed generation is also gaining traction. While intermittency remains a challenge, there is great potential for a clean and sustainable energy future.

Session Two: The future of the power grid: A transformative vision

By 2050, the power grid will be powered by more diverse renewable energy sources, distributed generation models, smart grid management systems, integration with electric vehicles and smart homes, and innovative transmission technologies. This shift will require smart regulations, the adaptation of energy markets and financial incentives, partnerships, and interconnection between different energy providers.
